This policy explains what information Carter & Bone Precision Engraving (“we”) collects through carterandbone.com and how we use it.

What we collect

• Quote requests: your name, email, optional phone number, project details and any artwork files you upload.
• Orders: the items you choose, your engraving text, font choices, special instructions and any artwork you upload for a product. Payment, shipping address and contact details are entered on Shopify’s checkout, not on this site.
• Your cart: stored in your own browser on your device so it’s still there when you come back. It isn’t sent to us until you check out.
• Technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your information.

How we use it

• To quote, make and deliver your order.
• To reply to your questions and quote requests.
• To keep the site secure and working.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare — website hosting and storage of artwork files you upload.
• Shopify — checkout, payment and order records.
• Resend — delivers quote requests to our inbox by email.

Artwork you upload

Uploaded files are stored privately and used only to quote and make your order. Links to them are shared only with us through your order or quote request.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@carterandbone.com. We may need to keep order records where the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date above.
